What free gives you
Drop a clip and Shakefree marks every shake on its timeline, free and without an account. You see where the shakes are and how many. The exact in and out points and the export come with a plan. Entering your email gives you a free account with its own free minutes.
Which plan
The pack suits a one-off job, like a wedding, a documentary shoot or an archive. The monthly plan suits regular work. It costs $15 a month, the same as the pack, and has no limit while it runs.
Questions
Which video formats does Shakefree read?
MP4, MOV, ProRes and MXF, and most camera formats with H.264 or HEVC. A few formats are converted in your browser first, which takes a little longer. The app lists every supported format under Supported formats.
Does the 3-hour pack expire?
No. Pack hours never expire. Minutes are taken when a clip is scanned, by its length rounded up to the whole second. Scanning the same clip again with other settings is not charged twice. Buy another pack whenever you like and the hours add up.
Do your free minutes add to the pack?
No. While the pack has hours left, every scan uses the pack and the free minutes are left unused. A clip you scanned for free before buying uses pack time the first time you export it. When the pack runs out, the account is back on the free plan with its own free minutes.
Can you cancel the monthly plan?
Yes, any time, in Settings under Manage billing. You keep unlimited scanning until the end of the month you paid for, then the account returns to the free plan.
What leaves your computer?
Your video stays on your computer. Your browser reads the clip and sends only the motion data it extracts, plus the clip facts like its length and frame rate. The privacy policy lists everything we receive.
Do you have plans for teams and studios?
Bulk licensing and invoicing are handled by email. See Teams and studios on the support page.
Can you switch from the pack to unlimited?
Yes. In your pack's last 20 minutes, the app offers unlimited with the first month free, because the pack already paid for it. The FAQ explains how the offer works.
Is there an annual plan?
No. There are two paid plans, the pack and the monthly plan, both $15.
